Hello Everyone! Welcome to my blog! Welcome to Sarahdise! I’m so excited that you’re here and I’m so excited to be blogging again.
I know some of you that follow me on Instagram now used to follow my original blog that I started EIGHT YEARS AGO. When Kent and I first got married, I moved from Florida to Indiana to be with him and I decided to start a blog so our friends and family back home could see what we were up to. We were building our home at the time and I thought it would be fun to document that and just newlywed life in general.
I loved blogging and made so many friends (both in real life, and online) from this amazing community. I blogged for about 4 years all through our first years of marriage and my pregnancy with Roman. That’s actually how I discovered my love for photography. I upgraded my camera to take pictures for my blog and ended up loving the photography aspect of it just as much as writing out my posts.
After Roman was born, I wanted to quit my 9-5 job and do something from home where I could have a flexible schedule and more time with my baby boy. So I decided to turn my photography hobby into a business and that’s just what I’ve been doing for the past five years. About the same time, I started my Instagram account and my blog kind of fell by the wayside. Instagram is great, but it’s not a good forum for tutorials, a house tour, and so many other things y’all have asked about and I’ve wanted to share.
So the blog is back, and definitely better now that these two guys are in the picture. I can’t wait to share more of our little family with you! When I started blogging it was just for friends and family and I never would have imagined that people we didn’t even know would want to follow along. Your likes and comments and support have been so amazing the past few years and I’m so thankful for all of you and so excited for what’s to come!
