Happy Monday Everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful, relaxing Easter Weekend! After two weeks of traveling it was sooooooo good to be HOME with my three sweet boys! We had the BEST weekend. I got home late on Thursday night and the boys had waited up for me and hung the cutest little paper signs and pictures all over the house that said “Welcome Home Mommy” and “We Love You”. Roman didn’t have to go to school on Friday so we spent the whole day together just playing and dyeing Easter Eggs.
On Saturday we ran a bunch of errands to get ready to host Easter at our house on Sunday. The boys and I made these cute little Rice Krispie treat nests with Reese’s Eggs inside of them, and I spent the rest of the day cleaning our house, filling Easter Baskets, and making three trips to Target haha!
It was 75 degrees and Sunny on Easter Sunday so I got the idea to buy some outdoor furniture for our deck at the last minute and ran around half the day on Saturday trying to find some I liked. I think everyone else in Nashville must have had the same idea though because everything I liked at Target and Lowes was sold out. 🙁 I think we’re going to order some stuff online this week and hopefully it will be here for us to enjoy next weekend.
The boys woke up early on Easter Sunday and we had so much fun watching them run down the stairs to see what the Easter Bunny had brought them. They are at such a fun age right now. I wish I could just freeze time. *ugly mom cry face* After that, we decided to surprise my parents at their church for Easter Service. My brother, his wife, and their daughter came did the same thing and my parents loved having all of us there with them for church.
After church, everyone came back to our house for lunch and egg-hunting. It was the most beautiful day and we literally played outside until the sun went down. Y’all were cracking up at the boys’ egg-hunting attire on my Instastory yesterday haha. Roman had on a Halloween shirt and cowboy boots and rocky had an ACDC tee shirt and yellow rain boots. We have an agreement at our house that I pick out what they wear when we leave the house and they can wear whatever they want when we’re at home so who knows what they’ll end up in lol!
I did have a lot of questions about what we wore to church so I’ve linked everything for y’all here! The dress I’m wearing runs small so if you’re between two sizes go up! They’re the only heels I’ve worn since I got them because they’re so easy to wear so if you need a nude, heeled sandal this summer I HIGHLY recommend these.
I’ve ordered the boys’ suits here since Roman was a baby (so 6 years now) and cannot recommend them enough. The price/quality is amazing. They needed Navy Suits for a wedding they’re in this Summer anyways so I went ahead and got them early so they could get more use out of them.
Well it’s back to work for me. Between my trips to Dallas and Italy I’ve successfully ignored my inbox (and cleaning my office) for 17 days now so I’m hitting this Monday hard. Have a great week gang!
