Back to School Essentials

Roman started back to school earlier this month but Rocky is still living his best life on the Preschool Wait List. We only have two kids ahead of us now, so hopefully he’ll be joining a class soon! In the mean time, I’ve been dropping him off at my Mom’s house 2 or 3 days a week. He loves to hang out over there and it works out perfectly for me because I can shoot or get caught up on work in a quiet house.

Honestly, I think he’d be happy never joining an official class since we already got him a backpack and lunchbox. Getting those two things was the only reason he was excited to start school haha! When we went to get Roman’s school supplies, I let Rocky pick out a backpack and lunchbox and he was on cloud nine. He has been so jealous of Roman’s school gear all year and he is so so proud to finally have his own.

I haven’t seen anyone with lower prices on school supplies, backpacks, and lunch box essentials than Walmart. Plus they have all the characters and styles the boys wanted on everything (like Disney and Avengers). Rocky wanted a Batman backpack and an “Army” lunchbox and we found both of these at Walmart! The lunchbox comes with a sealable container, a water bottle, and the lunchbox for less than $10. The Batman backpack is under $10 too!

Walmart makes it easy to shop with options to buy in-store, online, or pick-up and delivery services. They have free 2-Day Delivery and even Next Day Delivery in some areas!

I went ahead and picked up lots of drinks and snacks to fill their lunchboxes too. You guys know I loathe cooking so I’m all about healthy snacks that we can just grab and go! I usually stock up on things that are individually wrapped that way there’s no sorting or prep time if we’re in a hurry! If you need snack ideas for your kiddos, here are a few of our go-to’s (all of these are from Walmart).

GoGo Squeez – Non GMO, No sugar added, 100% fruit, Gluten/Nut/Dairy Free, All natural with no artificial anything.

A huge thank you to Walmart for once again sponsoring today’s post! As always, all thoughts and opinions are fully my own.
