Almost 40 years ago, when my Dad took my Mom home to meet his family, they sat down to each lunch and my mom recognized the dinner plates. It was the same pattern her mom owned. My parents had both grown up eating on the same china pattern their whole lives. When they got married, both my grandmothers gave all their china pieces to my Mom. She recently gave it all to me and I wanted to incorporate it into our thanksgiving set up this year.

I love the idea of incorporating vintage pieces into your holiday tablescape. It adds such a “home-y” and nostalgic feeling. If you have your mother, or grandmothers china, get it out this year! If not, start a new tradition that you can pass down through the generations.

eBay is an amazing resource for finding one-of-a-kind pieces to add to your holiday tablescape. Whether you’re missing a certain piece of china, or looking to invest in a whole set, eBay is the place to check! If you enjoy the bidding process you can still do that, or just purchase items outright the traditional way! I love shopping on eBay because it’s great for the environment (reuse/recycle), you find pieces that are unique and different, plus you can get some incredible deals! You can find all sorts of new and preowned Fall and Thanksgiving decor here! Make sure you check out eBay for all your Holiday Entertaining needs! And while you’re there, don’t forget I have my own landing page on eBay now too! Click here to view lots of my favorite eBay finds for both me and the boys. Thanks so much to eBay for sponsoring today’s post!
