You guys, we had Roman’s “Back to School” Orientation last week. I still can’t believe he’s in First Grade! Because we moved, he’s in a new school this year, but so far so good! He loves his teacher and anytime I ask him if he’s made any new friends yet he says, “Mom! Everyone is my friend!”
You guys know I love dressing the boys and picking out all their clothes, but now that they’re getting older and going to school, I’ve been letting them pick out what they want to wear. I want them to be able to express their own style and feel comfortable and confident around their peers. Roman picked out a sequin dinosaur shirt to wear on the first day of school, but since then, he chooses some kind of athletic shorts and shirts almost everyday. I guess he comes by it honestly since I live in athleisure too haha!
His favorite sport shorts are from Academy Sports + Outdoors! He’s been wearing them so much so I decided to place an order for a few more pairs (anything to avoid laundry) and I let him pick out a few things he wanted too! He chose these sneakers (because he said they looked like a city in Star Wars) and lots of “Soccer Shirts” like this one.
I wasn’t planning on getting anything for myself but I saw this sweatshirt and fell in love with the color. The outfit I’m wearing here is pretty much my “momiform” most days. A tee or sweatshirt, leggings or shorts, and some kind of comfy sandals. These slides are amazingly comfortable. I’ve had them in our shoe tray by the door and worn them daily since I got them in the mail! They come in four different colors and they’re only $24.99!
