Hey Gang! I hope you’re all having a good week!
I spent the weekend in Cabo, Mexico! It was amazing. I was there to shoot a wedding for the sweetest couple and it was absolutely stunning. One of my other friends (who’s also a destination photographer) was in Mexico to shoot a wedding the same day! So my second shooter and I got to hang out with him and his second shooter and we all just had the best weekend. I’ve been feeling a little overwhelmed running two businesses and taking care of two boys since Kent left, so it was such a nice “break” even though I was there to work Ha Ha!
Anyways, after a series of delayed flights, I’m back in Nashville for a few days and it is FREEZING here (literally). As much as I loved Mexico, I kind of like it being a little chillier here right now. It makes it feel more like the Holidays to me. Plus, cold weather style is still probably my favorite. Today’s outfit is a combination of all my favorite basics for this time of year…a white tee, black leggings, taupe booties and a great cardigan. I find myself wearing cozy, casual styles like this almost every day.
Everything I’m wearing is from Walmart! We shop at Walmart all the time for our every day essentials, but I had no idea they sold so many premium brands online! Their selection is amazing! I got this cardigan from their Lord & Taylor Shop and I love it. I’m so picky about cardigans but the quality of this one is so good. It’s soft and has the most flattering, flowing fit so I’ll probably end up ordering the blue or olive version too. I paired it with this basic white tee (less than $14!), black leggings and taupe booties. Bonus, the leggings are fleece-lined so they’re perfect for staying warm in these cooler temps! All these basic pieces are so versatile so I know I’ll wear them a hundred different ways this Winter.
I just love being able to browse both high-end pieces and affordable fashion items all in one place. And the best part is Walmart offers free shipping on orders over $35 – no membership required! #score Thank you so much to Walmart for sponsoring today’s post!
